Bird Watch
The Bird Watch is a campus safety program based on the success of the national Neighborhood Watch Program. The Bird Watch training stresses education and common sense as it teaches students, faculty, staff, and those in the surrounding community, how to help themselves by identifying and reporting safety concerns and suspicious activity when they see them. The focus of the program relies on observation and awareness, and harnesses the power of community. The hour long training session will empower students and staff with the knowledge to be able to recognize and address safety and crime prevention concerns within their work units, residence halls, and other areas on and around campus. Training will include topics such as building/office security, personal safety, and dealing with suspicious behavior and people.

Bird Watch Warning Signs and Posters:
Bird Watch Warning Signs are posted throughout campus putting criminals on notice that our campus cares about safety! Additionally, all members of Bird Watch receive a Bird Watch static cling to be posted in work or residence areas in an effort to remind our campus community to remain vigilant.
